The only par 5 on the nine and a good birdie opportunity. The tee shot needs to find an uphill fairway and avoid the pines to the right and the deep rough and heather on the left. A fairway bunker some 290 yards from the tee can come into range but only for the longest of hitters. The second shot must avoid a long but narrow fairway bunker running along the right side of the fairway and another hidden one some 25 yards further on. The green is surrounded by an abundance of strategically placed bunkers making hitting the green in two a real challenge. The green is large and relatively flat but there are still many subtle borrows to be negotiated.
