Hole 14

Another wonderful par 3 at St George's Hill, and maybe the most demanding. Measuring over 200 yards from the back tee the hole can play shorter due to the drop to the green, but always take note of the wind direction. Short of the green is a pond and a newly enlarged bunker, these shouldn't come into play but do make the carry to the green all that more intimidating. Miss the green left and a steep slope and bunker await, miss to the back right and another green side trap is there to punish a wayward shot. Just in front of the green is a little slope and the majority of shots that pitch into this will stop and roll back. The green itself has two sides with a large rise in the middle. If you land on the wrong side of the rise from the pin this can make putting extremely tricky. Come away with a par here and it can feel like a birdie.
